Se l'amore per la musica si unisce al fascino di una terra straniera dalle tradizioni antiche e dai colori indimenticabili come è l'Irlanda, è facile desiderare di riproporre le melodie di questa terra e diffonderle nella nostra, che di altrettante tradizioni è ricca. E' quello che i Deep Green Light fanno riproponendo in chiave acustica inni celebri della tradizione irlandese dei pub, e ripescando quelle arie celtiche dal sapore mistico e dal ritmo trascinante originarie della verde Irlanda. Chitarre acustiche, banjo, armoniche, flauti, mandolini e percussioni che si intrecciano e si fondono per dar vita a un ensemble trascinante ed evocativo al tempo stesso
Deep Green Light formed at the end of the year 2007 in Cava de' Tirreni, in the South of Italy. They perform acoustic famous anthems of the Irish-pub tradition and mystic Celtic airs that bring to mind the origins of the green Ireland. In addition to these classical performances, the Deep Green Light with their brand new unpublished songs put together different influences that originate from the combination of North European music, of ethnic music from all over the world and especially of the Mediterranean tradition. Acoustic guitars, violins, banjos, harmonicas, pipes, mandolins and percussion mixed together offer the public a magic and evocative performance
Die Deep Green Light wurden Ende des Jahres 2007 in Cava de' Tirreni, in Süditalien, geboren. Sie kombinieren ein reichhaltiges Repertoire bekanntester Volkslieder der irische Pub-Live Musik mit antiken keltischen Arien, die an den Ursprung des grünen Irlands erinnern. Zusammen mit den traditionellen Stücken bieten sie auch ganz neue Songs, bei denen verschiedene Einflüsse aufeinander treffen: musikalische Tradition von Nordeuropa und ethnische Musik aus verschiedenen Ländern, besonders aus jenen mediterranen.
