Carlos M is an eclectic DJ, which mostly relies on techno minimal to express in feelings during his sets.Carlos had always show interest in several types of music. However, after attending some electronic music parties, he felt that his taste for this type of music was growing each day. It was something that really connected with him. Therefore, he decided that the next step was to start saving money to buy turntables and a mixer. Once he did it, it was the start of a new adventure in his life.After a lot of hours improving his skills in front of the decks, in 2004 he felt prepared to take the next step: playing live. His first experience happened in his University, where he played live for over 400 people. Despite being very nervous, the desire to make everybody dancing made it a night to remember and the crowd reaction was very positive. In this first act, he played a house music set. This nice experience made the desire to play even bigger.In 2005 Carlos M entered a project made of a group of dancers called Ritmos Urbanos. This gave him the possibility of playing in many clubs in Portugal. After this, Carlos M was given an chance to play in Abadia night club. He became a regular DJ there, making monthly appearances.With his musical experience growing, Carlos was starting to become more influenced by the electro music world. After some trips to the Berlin electronic scene, he found his reflex in a mirror. It was the techno minimal, with those sweet melodies. From that day on, minimal music has definitely been his main focus and what he plays during his sets.In 2006 he lived in Wroclaw, Poland. This was a very important experience for him. He played in the biggest clubs there and it was in this city that he met Chris, a producer and a DJ. It’s him who encourages Carlos M to enter the world of music production. Carlos accepted this challenge and started making his own stuff.At the moment, Carlos is back in Portugal, playing and improving his production skills, always searching for that special beat that makes people vibe.
