MAUSOLEUM RECORDS label was founded in 1982 by ALFIE FALCKENBACH, and has been a leading purveyor of quality heavy metal music for over twenty-five years now.During the course of its existence the legendary imprint has harboured classic metal bands such as WARLOCK [DORO], KILLER, OSTROGOTH, FAITHFUL BREATH, WITCHFYNDE, NAZARETH, ANVIL, BELLADONNA, VOIVOD, GREAT WHITE and L.A. GUNS, to name but a dozen.Today the artist roster of MAUSOLEUM consists of established heavy metal acts in addition to exciting new artists on the cutting edge of the genre. "Freak Business" their third album will be released across Europe in November 2007, except for Germany where the album will appear late January 2008, in order to coincide with tour plans. The USA release is planned for February 2008.
Mausoleum Records welcome Tank Buster Jack to the label. TBJ sound like the best of AC/DC with some Mötley Crüe / Guns & Roses Sunset-Strip-Sleaze style influences thrown in for good measure. GODIVA, now fronted by ex-VICTORY vocalist, FERNANDO GARCIA, rush-released their third album, entitled DESTRUCTION in Europe, on Friday, September 28, to coincide with the start of their European tour, together with SHAKRA. US release is scheduled for February 2008. Razorblade sharp riffs, screaming guitars, pounding drums and crystal clear high-pitched vocals are the main ingredients of DESTRUCTION, the album which will confirm GODIVA’s position at the top of the metal scene
