About Me

I spend a lot of time either at home or at school. I am a student of ecology. I study the connections between living things and living things and their environment. Someday I'd like to start an organic farm/nursery/creative land. I don't go out that much these nights and I don't have much time to promote myself. When I do have time I write, record, and play music. This page is a collection of these works.
"I believe in sunshine" is the pet name of my bedroom recording project that I began when I was 17 years old.
"The All Night Sunshine Band" is the name of the band this bedroom project has become.
The band and I are currently working on a first self recorded album in the rooms and crannies that make our lives what they are today. It is a personal works made with no budget and no commercial backing and with a whole lot of love and friendship. As I've never recorded an album before this, it iis proving to be a very good learning experience. I've already made a few mistakes along the way but progress is being made. We hope to finish before the summer is over. I don't have a solid track list but I am planning to cut the 30 or so songs I have down to 15 for this first release titled, "Peace, Love, and Hope - The All Night Sunshine Band".
Stay tuned as creative output is irregular but ever increasing.
peace love and hope,
Jonathan
p.s. - If you like what you hear and would like to hear some more or if you play a string (cello, bass, viola, violin), woodwind (Lower register saxophones, clarinets, oboes, etc), brass(any), slide guitar, sitar, Bass guitar, or any other non-rock band instrument and might like to play with us please contact me (Jonathan).
Let's make something that will wake up bored and jaded audiences everywhere, let's rip their hearts out, and leave them feeling like they have witnessed something special.
