PRESS RELEASEMeet Shavoyah Fox. Born in Fort Stewart, GA on November 14, 1984 and now resides in Durham, NC. She is not your typical Poet or artist. She is a Poet, writer & inspirational lyricist. Her passion towards her craft is one of a kind. The usage of her poetry is about life, love, and the independence of a writer. With the life stories that she puts forth towards her poetic words, Shavoyah bares her soul, personal life, and views of worldly issues that takes place around her. Surely, she will capture the true essence of your hearts will she steps on stage or where ever & whenever she performs. If you give her your ears; she will give you her heart and words of wisdom.
She has been performing since the age of 14. She has traveled from Georgia to Alabama to New York to Colorado to Hawaii to North Carolina where she resides. She performs for churches, school events, open mics, poetic parties and so much more. She is your all around poet. The strength of her voice will be carried with you after she parts her lips. Shavoyah’s soul and butterflies are beautiful when your eyes are laid upon them. Truth of the matter you will never see another artist like her. She is currently working on her debuted book called: The skin of a Fox due to release Early spring 2011.
