A human being is a deciding being.

About Me

life's a funny thing. it's quantum physics, really. the impact that our expectations has upon what we perceive shapes what we believe to be reality. therefore, the world goes the way we expect it...
it's amazing to think about what we deem important today versus what was important to us five/ten/twenty years ago. a more important observation, however, are the things that stay with us over time. pinpoint these things, and you find what may be the defining elements of your life.
the people in my life, the gifts and talents and boundless love within me, the opportunities that come each day - I realize that these are the only things I have to work with and enjoy every day I wake up and get out of bed. it's exciting to think that as good as my life is right now, it has the potential to become incomprehensibly more fulfilling.
our time on this earth is too limited for us to be consumed with the trivial, the superficial, the temporary and the fad.
i'm at peace in my search for beauty because I know I deserve what I'm looking for: beautiful in mind, body, and spirit.
if you're going to be afraid of anything, fear not being yourself because of what you think others will say or think themselves...fear wasted opportunities that are of the quality that only come around once in a blue moon...fear not loving someone when you have the chance.
lying around on the floor is one of the most underrated activities of all time.
mmm, sushi.
I'm due for a massage and am willing to trade one for one. Hell, I'll give two just so I can get one...
my love for the water and the beach has been dulled by my landlocked lifestyle.
hugs often don't last long enough

both of my parents: for sacrificing, providing, and caring for me & my sister so that we could pursue our own dreams and goals in our own time and in our own way

my sister: for showing me that love and concern exist even if we aren't always reminded, that family is forever, and that life is something to be enjoyed, so don't take myself too seriously

my nephew Trey: for teaching me that there are so many more truly important things in our lives than the things we make important each day
