In the second lineup change in as many weeks, we're very sorry to announce that Dave Hinman is no longer a part of Martyr Defiled.
We will be looking for a new guitarist over the next 2 months - we're not cancelling any shows between now and July, apart from the 23rd May which we have already had to cancel due to Richard Duffins departure.
If any guitarists want to audition for the position, please can you upload a video of you playing the lead parts from Barren and Flawless and message us with the link! The tabs are online here
MD18-04-2009 | MD UPDATE 2
Richard Duffin has decided to step aside as the Martyr Defiled drummer, due to personal reasons.
Its a great shame that we have had to split with Duff, as he's been our best friend for over a year a half - we're all gutted that he decided to stand down as our drummer but we respect his decision and there is absolutely no bad feeling from anyone.
We're NOT cancelling any of our upcoming shows apart from the 23rd May @ Club 85 in Hitchin - we're taking some time out in May to recuperate and to audition new drummers. In the mean time, our good friend Luca Rollini (Millicent Grove) will be filling in.
If any drummers want to audition, please upload a video of yourself playing Netherwitch (we can give you a download link on request, or just get it off some blogspot or something), and we'll take it from there.

We're happy to announce that we've signed to STATIK FACTORY RECORDS in the US, who will be releasing our debut EP Ecophagy later on this year! Heres the press release:

Martyr Defiled signed to 30 Days Of Night records in UK will have Statik Factory records as its US counterpart and will be releasing their EP this summer. With ever growing fan base and expanding its reach worldwide Martyr Defiled is bound to be one of the top metal acts to take over in 2009. Martyr Defiled plans on touring UK, US and Canadian this summer and doing hostile take over of North America so be on the look out and come support one of UK's top emerging acts. We here at SFR are very excited to have them join our family and are looking forward to a very long friendship and partnership with this amazing band!!!!
Hopefully we'll be following that up with a US/Canada tour, we'll keep you posted!
