Morgan Patrick Thompson

About Me

Morgan Patrick Thompson has been pushing the boundaries of bass behavior for over a dozen years now. Beginning on the rather conventional Fender Jazz Bass, Morgan quickly made his way through Rock, Ska, Metal, Punk, Blues, Fusion, Jazz and Bluegrass, eventually playing Fretted and Fretless Contra Bass Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Piccolo Bass Guitar, Eight-string Bass guitar, and the Double Bass. Over the last few years Morgan has been focusing on the Double bass, while still doing the occasional Electric gig, and solo stoplight. After a recent move to Austin Texas, Morgan has begun performing as a member of The Asylum Street Spankers. For shows with the band please go to our websight www.asylumstreetspankers.com.
