The Low Arts

About Me

Who could have guessed that a great native Oregon rock band like The Low Arts would be comprised of non native musicians? In November of 2007, Flint MI duo, Ganewsc and Paul S started carving out new songs with Erie PA bassist, Scott D. There was now master plan for the sound. There were no lofty rockstar goals. The three decided to have fun. Period. They're combined influences in the early Minneapolis scene quickly steered them in a very unpolished, gritty, direction song-wise. Then came Dave. Minneapolis MN guitarist, David Krough made The Low Arts four. And so the result of a couple of months of garage rock creativity was Lincoln St. New beginings! In 2009 Cheo Larcombe joined The Low Arts as drummer and hit the ground running. We are currently finishing our first full length cd Lower and a couple of extra tracks that will apear in one form or another in the future. Fun is still the focus, we still stick out as midwest and we're fine with that! Hope to see you all soon! The Low Arts
