Band Members: GENE BUTLER Roland VG-88 Guitars and Bass Tracks, Arranging, Engineering;
DAVE EDWARDS Drums and Percussion Arrangements;
WAYNE NELSON Keyboard on Realize
Influences: Archie and Dolores Butler(my father, worked in a factory swinging a hammer and never complained about his work or life, loved his family; my mother had polio in her teens and never let it stop her from doing what she set her mind on, loves her family and friends), Eric Clapton (really inspired me to want to play, what would guitar have been without the Cream Albums), Jimi (showed us all what rock guitar was and still is all about), Ken Hensley (Poet Song Writer) Jeff Beck(how does he think of that stuff), Joe Pass (Genius, thanks for writing the chord book), John Coltrane (A Love Supreme), Charlie Parker (What more do you need to know), Herbie Ellis (Something about his style and hey he actually could hang with Oscar Peterson), Joe Satriani (Melody and Song Writing), Steve Vai (Genius, god can this guy play, Love the ballads, theme and variations). Gary Moore (Fire and Emotion), Larry Carlton (Just for being Larry, love the Firewire Album, but have been listening for over 30 years). Mark Farner and Grand Funk Railroad, still use a couple of those pull off licks form the early LP's.
Sounds Like: A guy that liked 60's rock guitarists, studied jazz for a couple of years and played in a Top 40 cover band for 20 years.
