Started playing guitar when a friend said it would be a great idea to have band (yes it was to meet girls). So we sold our baseball gloves and other things and bought a $20.00 Norma Electric Guitar (no amp, thanks mom and dad for the Norma Amp a few months latter). A few years later, I decided I’d better get serious about something and found a teacher and started studying. Couple of years after that a professor at WMU heard me play a recital with some grad students and next thing you know I am studying as non degree status student. Played jazz pretty much non stop for a couple of years around school, but also stayed in a cover band and played pickup gigs to pay for rent and food. Next came a year on the road in the Holiday Inn circuit, playing cover music 6 nights per week with the graduate students I mentioned earlier. Came back off the road, put together a teaching practice and a cover band called Voyeur that played 2 to 5 nights per week for the next 20 years. The 80’s were basically spent playing live and teaching, but I did pickup a degree in electronics and started tinkering with computers. One night in 1988 one of the club owners cornered me about this new pc he bought and asked if I could help, basically went into his office and came out a day latter with some part time work in the PC field. 1990 I filed a DBA and started a computer business, we are still in business today, www.bcsinternet.com, we provide managed network services mainly in the small government sector but have develop several software systems including our counties 911 dispatch software/police reporting. Our band did continue to play up until 2002, but changing economic times and laws in Michigan killed the club circuit and the band decided to hang it up. The last few years as time allows , I have been working on creating original music. In and ideal world my job would be to spend my working life creating and playing original music that is a reflection of my true self while connecting with others who are on the same spiritual quest. All of us are guilty of allowing all the negative crap of the world to steer us in directions we were not intended. The quest should be one of positive true self that will naturally affect others in a positive way to self discovery of inner joy. The only true intention of our lives should be joy and how we all achieve it.

Inner Peace

We know deep down that there truly is more somewhere. We just don't know where to find it. And the last place we're likely to look for it is in the place we most fear&underneath that feeling of hollo...
