About Me

If you've come to this page, you probably already know me in the non-internet world, so what could this paragraph possibly tell you? The vital stats are at the lower left, the influences and favorite media are above that. I fear cameras because they steal my soul, and I need to keep the little that I haven't sold yet. As such, the only picture I have to offer is from the dark, smokey ruins of some random club on some random night.

I suppose people read this to gauge if I'm an asshole or not. It seems pretty hard to judge a person solely by what they write here, and it's pretty popular to be an asshole these days, so I might just be acting 'cool' or I might be a genuine jerk. Good luck figuring that one out. I'm probably one of a million generic 20-somethings with a sarchastic wit and a very disenchanted personality. What makes me different? Who knows, who cares. Why would you want to be different anyway?

My Interests

Sarchasm. Drunken philosphy. Pretty much anyone who can have an intelligent conversation about something. That should leave the bases open ...

I'd like to meet:

There seems to be something interesting in everyone I meet. Some people are beautiful in their childlike rage, some in their detached brilliance, some in their eccentric uniqueness and most in their human fragility. Half the fun in this game is trying to get through all the armor you've built up so I can try to figure out who you really are, and not just who you pretend to be.

Music:

Just like everything else on this page, I have no definitive answer for this. I probably listen to some of the same stuff you do. I also probably enjoy a few things you haven't heard of yet. I'm always open for anyone to turn me onto any good new music.

Right now I'm a little uninspired by music. I'm just plugging in the old CDs and laughing at the memories that come back. Depeche Mode, The Cure, Concrete Blonde.

Movies:

I've at least somewhat enjoyed most of the movies I've seen. Even the ones I thought were stupid (Alien vs. Predator, for example) were at least entertaining enough to see once.

Every now and then, I come across a movie that really gets into my head though, so I guess I could list those as they occur to me.
