S.K.E.R.O.[master of cerimony]

ENGLISH: SKERO(born in 1986) started listening rap and being involved in hip hop culture around 1998-99, while I started with freestyle in '99. in these years I met a lot of people who were interested as me in production of hip hop music. The first is DSM, which start producing my tracks and a lot of instrumentals with an original style you can find in his latest productions. I always heard a lot of music, not only rap but even funk,rock&roll, blues, reggae, raggamuffin, dancehall and more. This gave to me the skill of a style which is not settable in a pattern. After some year, my musical productions started give me the possibility to take place in some jam of my area, and this few live I made, incremented the number of people I could met. In this period I met stoma, mezaman and flamboy with which I had created MOLOTOV KLAN which was an experiment to create a group which could create a good sound with rap, but not only. This group taked place in a few big concerts like the one for the student's union in the duca d'aosta square (in front of the central station in milan)in 2004. in 2005 the molotv experience ended for all of us and me and flamboy, started with dj alis a number of dj sets and showcases at barbarossa pub. in the last months me, flamboy and dj bolz created a reggae soundsystem called LION POW, and now there are works for rap project's to finish (like my album) and works for the organization and promotion of the sound system. So I decided to tell to as many people as I can, the brotherness message of hip hop and reggae culture with my songs and with the LION POW soundsystem. ITALIANO: SKERO (classe 1986), ho cominciato ascoltando rap intorno al 98-99 per poi cominciare a cimentarmi con il freestyle e il rap vero e proprio. grazie a vari incontri, primo fra i quali con DSM ho cominciato a sperimentare produzioni tradizionali e non,attività che nel proseguo degli anni mi ha portato ad oggi ad avere una quantità di sfaccettature nello stile che non riesco ancora a identificare per bene. Ho sempre ascoltato una grande varietà di generi musicali che hanno aggiunto complessità alla formazione del mio stile. Negli anni questa serie di produzioni ha cominciato a portare qualche esibizione tra contest di freestyle e partecipazioni a jam della zona cominciano a rivalersi con qualche contatto e qualche nuovo amico. Cominciano alcuni progetti musicali come il molotov klan che con mezaman, flamboy e stoma ha ha prodotto alcuni live di spessore qualitativo (come il concerto dell'unione degli studenti del 2004 nella piazza della stazione centrale di milano) e alcuni pezzi nuovi che hanno aggiornato una "playlist" un pò datata oramai. La mancanza di una possibilità accessibile per registrare e dei fondi(monetari) mi hanno reso complicato registrare molti pezzi per cui diversi sono nella mia testa e i beat sul mio pc...anyway a seguire dal progetto molotv ci si è diversificati, mezaman abbandona la musica per la cucina e recuperati flamboy e dj alis cominciamo con il rendez-vous, una serata hip hop periodica al barbarossa di seregno. seguono nuovi progetti come la fondazione di sound system per la diffusione di suoni sempre legati alla black music pur rimanendo in un ottica di coerenza verso i legami fortissimi con l'hip hop che purtroppo vedo scarseggiare. Quindi ho deciso di diffondere quanto più posso il messaggio di fratellanza e di unione che l'hip hop promuove, sia con il soundsystem LION POW che con i live e le produzioni per il disco stay tuned..peace
