I am here for Friends

About Me

Hey you. I am Stacy. Like most people say, I am who I am, and some people know who I am. For those who don't, I'll tell you. I'm a girl that some would say is funny. I do have a slight obsessive personality (Japan and Egyházi Géza being just two of my obsessions) and low self-confidence. It is gradually growing though. My natural ginger hair did nothing for me, so I dyed it brown. I got better. I started wearing make-up. I got a little better. My hair went from long and brown to short and black and I got even better. Now, I have it even shorter (Mika Nakashima in NANA short), I have a tattoo, 9 piercings (only in my ears... pervert) and my self-confidence is better than ever. Now, if only I could lose some of this weight...
I am a gigantic geek. No, seriously. I play Dungeons and Dragons (and Vampire the Masquerade... and probably others. Depends what gets run, I suppose) and World of Warcraft. Give me credit though! On WOW I have no top level characters... yet.
I am an avid suit jacket / blazer collector. If you are stuck for something to buy me for Christmas or Birthdays, just walk into a Charity shop, look for a size 14 suit jacket, give me that and I will love you forever. That is how much I love suit jackets. I won't even care you only spent 50p on me. It's the suit jacket that counts.
I am a spiritualist. It isn't on the religion list (and it should be) so I put it here. Ask if you care about my religion. I hate sceptics and will not tolerate them mocking me, but I do accept that people have their own beliefs and will not believe what they can't see. I am exactly the same, but I believe what I can feel.
Here are some things I like and why.
To say I like my boyfriend would be an understatement, but I am going to put him in here anyway. He is one of the funniest guys I have ever met. He's sweet, he's a total geek (like me, so it's all good), he's damned attractive... and his singing voice. MY GOD! Only two other people can do that to me with their singing voice, and those people are Hyde and Egyházi Géza.
I like music. I don't care if you don't like the music I like and play. I do so call me what you want. Like I said, I don't care. I won't cry because a close friend of mine called me emo. Specifically, I love Hyde, Gackt, Rentrer En Soi and lots of other Japanese music.
I like Egyházi Géza. Seriously, this man is my idol. Gorgeous voice, and not that bad on the eyes either. He plays Count Krolock in Vámpirok Bálja (Vampires Ball). An amazing Hungarian show that I have seen live. Videos below.
I like Charlie Brooker. I'm going to talk about him for a while. Charlie Brooker is one of the Gods of television, passing judgement on what's good and what isn't. The good thing about him is he isn't patronising and makes me feel somewhat intelligent, especially when he said, "I used to think al young people were idiots." I heard this and realised, "But I agree with EVERYTHING you say... therefore I am NOT an idiot!!!" Anyway... watch Screenwipe, read his stuff and love him.
I like poetry. No I don't write about how life is unfair and nobody understands me. I write because I like to. I like to get in the minds of other people and write from their point of view. Sometimes it becomes emo, but maybe I picked a particularly emo person.
I like friends and family, the most important things in the world. If you have friends, cherish them. If you have family, cherish them more and don't bore me with bulletins about how you hate them and want them dead. Unless you are one of the unfortunate ones who gets abused, think yourself lucky you have a full family. You have a mother and father and maybe siblings. Be glad. They care about you so don't be selfish. If one of them did die, you'd be mourning like the rest of them. Don't pretend you wouldn't.
I like romance. Not books or films (although I do love Jayne Eyre) but the idea of REAL romance. I am just in love with the idea of romance. How else can I put it?
I like Japan. So should you. Japan is a beautiful country with great history, amazing people, phenomenal music and the best films ever. Japan and Korea have a better grasp of horror than we ever will, after all it was Koji Suzuki who wrote, "Ring." And yes I mean Ring and not The Ring as the stupid Americans called it. They completely misunderstood. Ring has meaning and not the meaning you gave it. I could write about Japan all day. I'll just say I am a huge anime fan. And I read Manga, but I am not as widely read as some fanatics. I've not read much, but my favourite mangas are in the "Books" section. When it comes to Anime, I love Naruto, Death Note, NANA and Fruits Basket. I'll probably love more when I watch more. There's more in the, "Television," section of my profile. Go look there. I also like Japanese Drama. Gokusen is my favourite.
I like cosplay. I suppose this is another Japanese thing. I've never been to a convention but the idea is one I love. I'd be Orochimaru from Naruto. Look him up. I suppose I'm also L from Death Note as evident in my pictures, but i am really bad at it. Oh, and now, because of my hair, I can do NANA too!
I lke Horror. Books and films. Look at other sections for more. I love Richard Laymon. He is another of my idols, as sick and twisted as he may be. Mainly because, he's ME! If you read the preface to "Dreadful Tales," it's something I would write. May your memory live on.
I like to dance. It is my passion and often gets me through. Bad things seem to happen on Fridays so a Saturday of dance really helps.
Here are some things I HATE and why.
Social grouping (althogh chavs deserve it). News reports about how Goths are dangerous and how you should be afraid if you child is showing signs of being emo are pointless. A suicidal personality is not determined by the music you like or how you dress. Get lives, all of you.
Big headedness. If you are beautiful, so what? Don't flaunt it around in the faces of us who are less fortunate as if you worked hard for it. You didn't. You're a worse person because of it if you like to show it off. I'd hate to be you.
Music Facism. I like music and I hate music. If you like something I hate, I'll make a joke and move on. Never mention it again. At least I know I hate that music before I take the mick. Give my music a chance. Don't just ignore me, refuse to pay attention and shrug it of as, "just noise." You're worse than me. If you do that, I will rip apart your music. It's how it works.
People who try to be cool. Especially on myspace. My bulletins are jokes. Ripping apart urban legends is what I do. If I answer a quiz, it is because I am bored. Some people out there seem to answer them so they look cool. Answering questions with, "Fuck you," is not cool. Replying to, "Who/what do you hate," with, "you," is not cool. You are an unoriginal idiot. You are only as good as the company you keep, so the company you keep is not cool no matter how you look at it. Cool is knowing who you are, accepting it and not caring about what people say about you. You obviously care. This is not a dig at anybody specific (although, if the cap fits) so messaging/commenting me with, "say it to my face," will just make you seem worse and allow me to lose all respect for you. You may not care, but I do. Losing respect for friends hurts me.
There are more things. If you care message me or keep coming back to my page. Blogs and Bulletins ranting may crop up now and again. Keep checking.
So, that's it. Add me if you like me, don't if you don't. I don't care either way. Although I do love to have friends. I'm a very friendly person.
Some people lose their faith because Heaven shows them too little. But how many people lose their faith because Heaven showed them too much?[LOVEMYFLASH][/LOVEMYFLASH]

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

All I want is my own Mr. Rochester to save me from the curse of Miss. Havisham. I hope I've found the right guy.
Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
