About Me

First and foremost, I am a woman. Soy Xicana. I am born and raised in Tucson and I love this place so much, there's just something about it. The community, the sunsets, the sunrise, the mountains, the dirt, the smell of the dirt when it rains...I could go on and on. Tucson is where I would like to spend the rest of my life and die. Wow, it's been a minute since I update this! I am a second year medical student at the University of Arizona. In addition to the typical studying and class time, I am involved with many extra-curricular activities. It is the things that I do outside of the classroom that keep me motivated and inspired. I continue to have a friendship with some of my wonderful mujeres who I met in undergrad (Las quiero mucho, Comadritas!) and am now engaged to, who else, Anthon (te amo, te quiero, te adoro, con todo mi corazon). I have grown as a person in many ways these past 18 months and I've taken a close look at my priorities in life. Even though I may complain about the horrible study hours and all the tests, I still love my life. I am truly blessed that I have been granted the opportunities that I have and blessed that I have been spun into the web of the wonderful people that are part of mylife.
