DJ Spe-Dea

At a very young age, DJ Spe-Dea knew that music was her love and her passion. She started writing lyrics at the young age of 12 and now has over 300 lyrics written to-date. In 2004, at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee she performed alongside her really good friend and recorded an in-studio recording of her very first song 'By My Side'. She knew that the experience was amazing by just being in the studio and doing what she loved to do. In 2006, she met someone who also had a love and an eye for music. He was a DJ, and she loved his style. She closely watched him and his mixing capabilities. She helped him with a few of his songs. After, she knew what her true calling was. She wanted to be a DJ. She used digital mixing as her gateway into mixing music, and has been mixing ever since. Her musical influences are that of mainly r&b and hip hop.
