I can't wait until my graduation!!!!!!

About Me

I'm a Philly girl without an accent-you'll get that if you're from Philly, too. I love my family and friends even when they make me nuts. I'm a college grad living at home. I'm with a temp agency while I figure out what I want to do with my life. I'm pretty easygoing and shy. I'm bright and honest. I'm serious when I need to be, but I do have a sarcastic and dry sense of humor. I'm a bit opiniated at times, but still I think I'm pretty open-minded. I'm a bit of a perfectionist about certain things. I root for my pro home teams, especially the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. I like to think of myself as an optimist. I'm admitting that I'm a dork. I've never paid much attention to fashion trends because it doesn't interest me. I find it rude when a person doesn't respond to e-mails, texts, phone calls, messages, comments, etc. I never read survey bulletins. Get this FREE MySpace layout and more at MySpaceOrYours.net

My Interests

My pretty guard dog-ha ha. Yes, I'm a dog person. ..
adopt your own virtual pet!Singing along to the radio/CD even when I don't know all the words, dancing, camping in cabins, relaxing, laughing, Disney World, and going out and having fun with "my girls". I love camping/hiking in PA state parks and sunbathing in Stone Harbor, NJ. Bath & Body Works products, and wooden roller coasters. I love chocolate. I have favorite Shakespeare plays. "Preston & Steve" weekday mornings on WMMR. The French language is pretty, n'est-ce pas?

I'd like to meet:

Good guys (respectful, honest, nice) in the area who can express their thoughts in complete sentences and don't smoke. Johnny Depp because I love his work and the French lilt in his voice, Kristin Chenoweth because I can relate to her, Tina Fey because I think she rocks, and Hillary Rodham Clinton because I think she rocks too. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A FRIEND REQUEST IF WE'VE NEVER MET! Send a message if you want to know something more about me or if you want me to listen to your music.

Music:

The indie musicians I met at college shows and/or other venues: Eric Hutchinson, skinny (formerly 2 skinny dorks & the family), Pepper's Ghost, The Good Cheer (formerly aria decline), Matt Santry, The Click Five (the first lineup), Polymer, and Curtis Murphy of Curtis Murphy Syndicate. I went to Bon Jovi's "Have A Nice Day" concert and Keith Urban's "Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing" concert (The Wreckers opened) here in Philly. The Beatles have a little place in my heart. I enjoy some contemporary country, some classic rock, some pop, some rock, some oldies, some show tunes, and some ballads. I think that when radio stations start playing Christmas music right after Halloween, it's unfair to Thanksgiving. I dislike live albums.

Movies:

I own musicals like 'Grease' and 'Cinderella' (not the Disney movie), comedies like 'Hitch' and 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure', romantic comedies like 'The Wedding Singer' and 'It Had To Be You', dramas like 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Elizabethtown', action like the 'LOTR' trilogy and 'Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl', and suspense like 'The Prestige' and 'The Interpreter' to name just some. You get the gist.

Television:

My shows: 'All My Children', 'Lost', 'Supernatural', 'Men In Trees', 'Pushing Daisies', 'The Office', 'Law & Order: SVU', 'Psych', 'Entourage', and 'Parking Wars'. I also like: 'House', 'Heroes', 'Scrubs', 'Journeyman', 'Desperate Housewives', 'Dirty Jobs', 'Mythbusters', 'Comedy Central Presents', 'Singing Bee', and 'Cold Case' to laugh at what they get wrong. If the guests are interesting, I'll watch the late night talk shows. I miss music videos on MTV/VH1 and summer reruns.

Books:

Any "Chicken Soup for the Soul", 'Heartsongs' series by Mattie J.T. Stepanek, 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn' by Betty Smith, 'The Little Prince' by Antoine de Sainte-Exupery, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky, 'The Catcher in the Rye' by J.D. Salinger, 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley, 'Pudd'nhead Wilson' by Mark Twain, 'On The Road' by Jack Kerouac, 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens, 'Homage to Catalonia' by George Orwell, 'Pride & Prejudice' by Jane Austen, and 'The Chocolate War' and 'Beyond the Chocolate War' by Robert Cormier'. Don't judge a book by it's movie.

Heroes:

God, my maternal grandmother (RIP), parents, siblings, best friend, old high school friends, and college friends. Also Michael J. Fox, Lance Armstrong, Bob Geldof, Al Gore, Christopher and Dana Reeve (RIP), the musicians involved with NBC's 'Clash of the Choirs', teachers, whoever invented contact lenses, and those whose job it is to put their lives on the line. _
