Tim Townley

I got interested in music at about 5-6 yrs old from watching cowboy tv shows, it took until about age 8-9 before I actually got a real guitar for Christmas (a Kay acoustic). Soon the Beatles thing happened and then I was playing guitar in school plays, then in a high school band The Brass Buttons (with a Gretsch Tennessean and a Rheem tube amp) and later (and with better gear) in Birmingham AL band HOTEL for a couple of years. I married Susan, we raised Chris & Joel & for 25 years my music effort was directed towards church choirs and ensembles. These days I write and record as a hobby just for the fun of it.
