Music - I'm working on my own music, mostly progressive Hard rock/Metal (also with other influences), which hopefully sounds original.
I'm, for the moment, a "one man band", so it takes quite a while to get a song completed, especially between all the must do's and should do's. However, I put songs up as soon as they're completed, and will send you a bulletin (if you're added as my friend) when they are so.
Bulletins - I often don't read bulletins as I don't have the time, so send me a message or comment instead.
Humor & Oddities - I got a professional attitude, but I won't hold back two integral parts of my personality: my original thinking and weird/drastic humor. That's why I also have humor and odd stuff on this page, not just serious music, videos etc.
Comments - If you comment me heavier to load stuff like YouTube videos, instead of embedding the video/stuff in the comment just paste the link to the video/page. I try to keep my page reasonably fast and light to load.
ABOUT ME - A GUITARIST & SONGWRITER
I started out taking drum lessons at school at the age of 11, then discovered my brother's spanish guitar when I was 12 (I also wrote my first song at this age). I think it was when I heard Led Zeppelin that I wanted to play electric guitar instead, so I bought one with money that I had inherited and started to try to play Zeppelin songs, but also Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath and other stuff.
Me and a school mate jammed together on our free time in my family's garage at the age of 13-15, and when I was 16 me and my older brother went to music school studying the classical guitar (I already knew how to play the electric guitar...), music theory, music history etc for two years. At the school I bought my very first 4-track recorder/mixer from a accordion player, and started to record songs, riffs etc. After the music school studies ended we started a band with a drummer, playing songs by Black Sabbath, Rory Gallagher, Billy Squier and others.
We continued to play in another band until my brother moved to Stockholm to work. After this my music/playing has included...
- Writing songs, recording with music software and other recording gear, practicing electric guitar.
- Trying to start a band in Stockholm while I was at art school, and I also played in the school's pop/rock band at the time.
- Working/practicing in a recording studio/radio station and in a music store.
- Starting and working in a music EU project mainly as a guitar/bass/drum teacher.
- Worked/performed with a band, playing jazz songs.
- I have also done other music related work/studies/projects throughout the years.
Now I'm here on MySpace trying to sell and promote my music.
