Radical Disease was formed end of April 2005 by Along (Guitar), Aseyr (Bass) and Lan (Drums) from Malacca. RD's music genre can't be categorized to 1 because RD's concept is more to experimental. Some of them are modern rock, post alternative , nu metal, emotional rock, acid jazz rock, progressive rock, funk and etc. But, finally , all in the favor for Experimental Nu Rock.In the early formation of the band, RD only played 'cover songs' from Incubus, Radiohead, Seven Collar T-Shirt and Muse for gigs performances which they have been invited to. At the moment Along was the guitarist and vocalist at the same time, Aseyr with bass and Lan with drum / percussion. However, Along had decided to search for a vocalist who will also play the position of the 2nd guitarist to complete the music composition. At August 2005, Adex were a part of Radical Disease.Every individual and rock band that existed had their own music influence and so does Radical Disease. Most that had influenced RD was Radiohead, Incubus and Seven Collar T-Shirt. It's a fact that we can see most of our influence comes from western, but no doubt about it that they are too good and influenced to ignore.From the result of experiment and all the element collected from each of RD's line- up. The idea absorbed and RD's first song has been created in September 2005 and its call 'Amethyst' in english version. Among of the music lover and indies, Amethyst has become an attention when RD's goes to live performance in a short period. Amethyst was a melancholic and emotional song that takes more than 2 month to complete, originality is the main factor.On January 2006, 3 more songs has been produced, 'Fake', 'Blueberry and Blood' (acoustic) and 'Adore'. Its all about life, intense, and melancholic, but the vocals are into emotional and melodic. Well RD's trying to makes some changes and difference to find a female vocalist in early of February 2006. Lelyx were found and joined RD. Starting March 2006, RD had loads of invites to perform all around Malacca and Klang Valley , and in the mean time there were an incident where Lan was forced to step out of the band end of February caused by career and location.Ewin the Rhaman is taking over Lan's position for RD as a 'drum sessionist' . A few more songs were produced and the very first demo - 'Stain of Braincell Astrocyte' on August 2006 by Adik the Rhaman and Radical Disease. The songs that were in the first demo was -'Adore' , 'Amethyst' and 'Fake'.December 2006, more songs were produced and experimented for the 2nd demo, new elements by 'modern effects', 'modern riffs', 'garage effect', classic jazz, funk groove and more progressive sounds. Process of the 2nd demo took quite a number of time because the production has gone complex and career factor. Despite on the same interests, RD puts commitment first. RD goes on until in the middle of March where Lelyx decided to leave the band because her career is at peak. However, complications have turned to a good news when Lan (Drums) has returned to be with RD again on April 2007 with more new music ideas.
