Affenpinscher, the monkey face dog. If you would like to learn about these dogs just follow us as we learn more every day ourselves. With four now we find that each has their own distint personality. Opal the leader of the pack, Tess next in line. Razzel will be having his 2nd birthday in five days, but Abbi is going to be next in line. Razzel just lets the girls run over him. I have never known such a funny little breed these dogs. We found the affenpinscher about 3 years ago and thought it was such an instersting little breed. After we bought Opal we wanted to start showing her, but soon found that she wasn't a show dog. We then were introduced to Mr. Jerome J Cushman of Hilane Kennels in Victor New York. I went to New York by myself which was something I had never done before. To get on a plane by myself and go somewhere without Jim was a BIG adventure for me. I was scared a little but every thing went fine, I found everything I needed to and went there and back in one day. I had never been so glad to be back in Tennessee, when I arrived back home 12 hours and 45 minutes later. I was so happy to see Jim I almost started running toward him, however being that I was so tired I could hardly walk and had little Tess I thought it best to just walk. So now I had my Tess, Hilane's Mistress of Thornfield. After getting her we were offered Razzel from a woman in Sweden. We brought her to Fort Mitchell KY to the home of a mutual friend where we picked up our Swedish boy. After visiting with them we came home and we had our start with our hopes high in what these two little show dogs would do. We started showing in 2006 in Anderson South Carolina. Tess took a Best of Breed there and has many bob ribbons, we are very proud of her. She is a real showoff, and all of her points were major wins, this means she had to beat at least 3 other females to get a major. Her Championship came in Louisville Ky on March 17 07. We then went to Springfield Mass to the National Affenpinscher Specialty where 91 affenpinschers were registered, Never in their history has that many been in one place at one time. When the judge made her final cut, Tess was part of the final 7 dogs. Our new girl Abishag, abbi for short, Or Hilane's Harvest Moon over Thornfield. Abbi is a great little girl, the clown of the bunch. She is always up for a game any game doesn't matter to her. <><><><><><><>< ><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><>< ><><><><> <:-><:-><:-><:-><:-><:-> <:-><:-><:-><:-><:- We would like to congratulate Hilane's Sugar and Spice on her recieving Best of Oppisite Sex at the National Specialty in Springfield Mass. Sugar is Tess's litter mate. Also Yarrows Action Jackson for his win as Best of Breed. Also to Hilane's Mr November for his award of Merit, He is a beautiful silver Affenpinscher. I have been able to see places that I have never seen before. Meet people who are dear to me. See my Tess win her Championship and watch as she was placed in the top group of Affenpinschers in this Nation and Canada. I have handled her and won against Pros and people who have been showing a very long time. I was blessed to take care of my Great Aunt and see and feel so much love from her in her last days. I have seen my daughter find success in her career. The Lord has taught me new things on the piano. I have even heard the great news of people who are very dear to me, in the expectation of a child. I have had the love of a great man who I have loved for 26 years grow even stronger. I have seen the Lord work in peoples lives. I hope to see that even more. I have seen as my Opal's siezures have become fewer and fewer, I credit this to the BARF diet. Abbi has become a very healthy member of our pack. I have been so truly blessed this year and am so very thankful for it all. We hope that the coming year brings us much more happiness, love and blessings from God. To all my friends I would like to say I love you all. To all the members of this my space I would like to say I hope you will be blessed this year as well. And thank you all for coming by for a visit. This is the best repsentation of who we are that I could come up with I hope you enjoy the page. We are just regular people we work hard and try to do what is right. We love our family and friends with our whole heart. We love the Lord above all and wish to help build his Kingdom.
