I love painting, yoga, reading Sunset and Bust, making tramp art, hanging with my AMAZING husband Corey, treasure hunting at thrift stores, being a part of the exploding art community here, laughing a lot, driving through the desert in our Jeep at dusk, dry felting scarves and portraits, my sweet fat kitties, dumpster diving, a dry cab, any triple creme French cheese, listening to PJ Harvey, staying up in Taos at the Laughing Horse Inn, talking with Emmily and my Heathers, a nice IPA from High Desert, remembering my friends in Seoul, and dreaming about traveling to Australia with Corey and looking at the sacred rock Uluru (Ayers Rock). God, my life is good.

My Interests

Corey, our business partner Irine and I opened a local art gallery called LAUGHING AT THE SUN in Old Mesilla, NM two and a half years ago. It sits on the edge of the plaza in Mesilla so it's a really great old space - an adobe dating back to 1900 or so. The walls are 2 feet thick! Anyways, we presently have 22 regional artists in our venue and feature openings and new exhibits monthly. We show mostly contemporary works but now and again we will feature a traditional artist. The best part is that we are keeping our artist friends happy and get to do our own work while we are here. Yay!
