About Me

Wicked Radio 88.9 FM WIKD is a Micro-Power Broadcast station in Edgerton, Wisconsin. We operate at 25 watts of power 24 hours a day. Wicked Radio is commercial free radio the way it was meant to be. This station is primarily controlled by the listeners through an online request engine. We put you in control of what you want to hear, rather then letting some corporate kiss ass do it for you. Wicked Radio came on air in 1989 and is still going strong after 18 years. Dr Deshi Volanti is my name, and I built and run this amazing radio station.
The main website for Wicked Radio is down while we move it over to a new hosting company. Deshi is 30 years old and afflicted with pancreas cancer, Gastroparesis, and type 1 diabetes, and relies on the support of the community to keep motivated. Proceeds from donations go to paying to keep the station on the air, and to aid in Deshi's high cost of medications. So be a pal and donate a buck or two if you like listening to the station. EKOTREN

Established in Cape Coral, FL in 2000 by vocalist John Sheldon, guitarist Keith Finnell, and keyboardist Steve Chin, EkoTren has carved their name deep into the scene. With the later additions of drummer Eric Pottle and bassist Derek DeSantis, the quintet has toured the state extensively, off of two EPs, ‘The Tables Have Turned’ (2006) and ‘Destroying the American Dream’ (2007) and have shared stages with the likes of Saliva, Flyleaf, Nonpoint, Diecast, Ankla and more.
