About Me

The Belmar School of the Musical Arts is a collaboration of experienced, formally educated music instructors dedicated to providing a thorough, well rounded education. To assure a proper balance, our private lessons tap into the personal stylistic interests of students of any level while simultaneously integrating the skills of reading, writing, theory, technique, and improvisation. We offer private instruction in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, percussion, vocals, strings, and horns. Group sessions and master classes in areas such as: music notation, ear training, modernized counterpoint, song writing, reharmonization, and engineering are also offered as announced. The school contains an on site live recording facility which will be available to rent by the hour to produce demos and record live jams. The latest addition to the school has been the development of a woodworking and instrument repair shop. This allows the luxury of getting a quick, on site, repair done. We'll also be starting to build hand crafted stringed instruments which will be sold at the school. For more information, please either contact us by email, or feel free to call the school @ (732)681-4848

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in learning how to play an instrument at a beginning level. One who just finished college interested in furthering their musical journey. Those who play professionally and need to step it up a notch, or anyone who simply enjoys music enough to come in and learn how to play a few songs for their own enjoyment. I guess that translates to, anyone who wants to learn about music at any level.
