Order The New Foxy Shazam! Album "Introducing" here! And Other Foxy Merch!

Hey guys! We know that we've been a little quiet lately, but there's been a whole lot going on over on our side of the world and we've been kind of crazy. BUT! We still love Foxy, and we're sure that you still do too. So, here are a few random and easy ways to keep promoting Foxy until the next "assignment" comes up.
1. Radio Stations -- Call and request Foxy on your local alternative radio stations. Pretty simple. And if they don't currently know who Foxy is, the more that you and your friends call and ask the more likely they are to get the single in and start giving it air time!
2. Hot Topic -- Go into hot topic and ask for any Foxy merchandise, specifically shirts and the album. A lot of people think that requesting stuff like this at stores doesn't do much, but some of us here at Shazam! Sprawl happen to work for Hot Topic and we know that when enough people ask for something, it actually gets taken note of and requests go into HQ. So, if you and enough friends ask for Foxy stuff, they'll start getting it in more!
3. Record Shops -- Same idea as above, but obviously just asking for them to get the album in, if they don't already have it. And if they do? Get your friends that for whatever reason don't have the album already to go to the store, buy it, and then go back and ask for them to get more in stock. :)
4. Shows -- Is Foxy coming to your town anytime soon? Make up some fliers and do the same thing you did with the Introducing fliers -- put them around town, pass them out at school, put them in different venues and record shops, make sure that everyone knows that Foxy is coming to your town! And, get together a crew of friends to go to the show with you! Even if they've never heard Foxy before, a show is something fun to do, right? Pull up outside your venue with an entourage, and show your support that way!
5. No Shows? Already been to the stores and been calling the radio stations? Well then, just print up some fliers that say something along the lines of "Introducing Foxy, in stores now!" with some fun pictures behind it. Spark peoples attention, and get others asking about Foxy everywhere! Also, anytime you hear of Foxy being in the news somewhere (like say, Alternative Press, top 100 bands to look out for in 2008 that's on stands right now?) go and buy it, and tell as many people as you can to do the same!
Keep the word moving, everyone! It's the best thing that we can do right now to keep Foxy Shazam on the minds and lips of people everywhere until something else comes along that they need our help with!!

P.S. We're keeping up all of the info from the promotion of Introducing just incase you guys need ideas and things to keep the promotion going!
We are currently interested in promoting Foxy Shazam's new album "Introducing Foxy!" which will be released on January 22nd, 2008.
There are many different ways to promote things, but we've come up with a few ones that we think are interesting. We'll post photos of them and other ideas soon.

--Operation Shazam Sprawl--
Here are some of the things that we have started doing:
1. Grab some old magazines. Rip out interesting articles or advertisements. On the ripped out pages, write (as large as possible in the brightest, easiest to read colors and script) the basic information for Foxy's new album. That information is:

It would also be helpful to include myspace.com/foxyshazam. We are also including this myspace on our flyers, and while that is not necessary, we're doing it so people who already know about the album can find out how to spread the word more. That link is myspace.com/shazamsprawl.
The last random thing we have been putting on our flyers is an F with a circle around it. This is our little symbol for Operation Shazam Sprawl. Once again, it's not necessary, but it's fun and it puts smiles on our faces being able to keep an eye out for the operation helpers.

2. Stickers.
You've seen the "hello my name is" stickers. Buy a pack of those from a local store for super cheap and put all of the needed info on them (see section 1 if you don't know the info already).
Also, there are just blank decent sized labels you can buy and do the same with.
3. Stamps.
Stamps can also be made for incredibly cheap. Go to Kinkos or your local printing or office supply store and have them make up any sized stamp you feel like paying for and put the needed info onto that stamp. Then buy some ink and get to work!
4. Sharpies.
They work the same as stamps, except they cost a lot less. Your hand might hurt after a long day of helping Foxy, but if you're broke, it just might be worth it to you!
5. Magazines!
We know that in a lot of different cities everywhere there is a local entertainment newspaper of some sort. A lot of them are just stacked at different restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, piercing shops, etc. Make flyers and stuff one into each paper. Once again, you may need permission from the shop owner to do this, so you might want to check that first. Also, many hotels and welcome centers have a place for flyers and magazines for local attractions. Put some flyers there, or stuff them into other music related things there.
6. PostSecret.
Do you have a secret that includes Foxy Shazam!? Or maybe you just want to send in a secret in general? Make your background for your secret a live shot of Foxy, or an ad for them or something! Send it in to PostSecret and it just might make it onto their site that MILLIONS of people check every sunday! http://postsecret.livejournal.com
7. Road Signs.
You've all seen them. The signs on the side of the road that say "vote this person for mayor", or maybe selling something, or advertising for a new diet, or whatever. Make some of those for Foxy! Use the Important Information from section 1 and get some poster board, sharpies and wire stands from whatever store you choose. Then go to town! Just make sure that the words are bold and can be seen from the road, and that it's not too cluttered that people can't read it!
