About Me

Music has been in my life ever since I was a small child. I grew up listening to records on my little fisher-price record player, and I remember going to my dad's band practices quite often. His bandmates used to let me play whatever instrument interested me at the time...which was pretty much ALL of them! As I got older I took the requisite piano lessons for a few short years, and eventually taught myself guitar, bass and drums. I played in many bands over the years...some were even good:) No matter what I do in life, I will always have the incredible experiences that music has made possible...the talented people I've met and played with, the concerts...large and small, the music-fueled car rides. These memories will last forever. CURRENT EVENTS: teaching science (i'm certifiable!), songwriting, performing, recording, reading, paying attention... *ALBUM INFO: "the Dakota album" was produced by Fred Krug, whose patience and focus helped turn my dreams into reality. THANK U FRED! As for the instrumentation, I played everything on the album except for the drums, which were programmed with help from Fred. INSTRUMENTS USED: Fender Telecaster, Vintage 1960's Fender P-Bass, Westwood acoustic, Takamine acoustic, Yamaha Motif-7 keyboard.
