Who is Fyahmel? Well, I am African born in a strange land ( Jamaica ) in 1983 to parents Marcia Ferguson & Keith Gordon in the parish of the great PAUL BOGLE (St.Thomas). As a youth, I attended Grants Pen Primary and Morant Bay High School. Music was always in me. My sixth grade teacher, Ms. Martin, was one of the first to see the light in me, so she invited me to perform at my graduation. At Grants Pen Primary, I was a very well known cricket player. I received recognition through articles written about Grants Pen Primary in the Teen Herald.
After leaving Morant Bay High School, I began taking music seriously. In 2000, the East Law family was formed. East Law is well known in my parish and many places in Jamaica. In 2005, I decided to pursue a solo career. This venture allowed me to visit several places in Kingston. In Meadowbrook, I became a member of Enrapture studio, where I was given the opportunity to voice my first professional recording on the "BRIGHTER DAY RIDDIM," with the name of my song being the same name as the riddim. It was well received by the producer, some radio personnels, and the wonderful listeners. Big up Irie FM , Hot 102, Zip 103 and Root FM, and give yanks to Sammantha Isaac and Gregory Williams fi di strength @ ENRAPTURE.
