Bradley), the shins, the violent femmes, Heart, Queen, arctic monkeys (coz' they fucking rock!!!!)the avett bro's., counting crows, anais mitchell, billy holiday,chet baker, THRIFTSTORE COWBOYS, david gray, the sounds, the toadies, led zeppelin, smashing pumpkins, mazzy star, stina nordenstam, brazillian girls, the pixies, le tigre, the hives, STARCHILD, early white stripes, van morrison, elton john, bob dylan, death from above 1979, tori amos, ray lamontagne, sElf, DeVotchka, mark geary, ben folds.....the list could go on. new artists i've discovered from myspace like mujaji, fiona renshaw, elements of something really beautiful and of course, ten dollar outfit (thanks to icon music) i always love hearing about new music that i'm not aware of so if you know of anything that i don't, pass it on.

i don't have any particular genre of books i'm into. i usually just go and look at the bargain-priced books and find something that looks interesting - then settle down in my smoking jacket with a nice cognac and a pipe. (jk)
