Bishop Oscar Louis Meadows is an anointed man of God, who preaches and teaches the word of God with authority. Born on June 12,1942, in Brundidge, Alabama to the parentage of
Mr. and Mrs. L.C. and Gussie Hobby Meadows. In 1959, he was ordained as minster/elder. In 1969, he married Joe Ann Washington and is the father of Oscar Louis Meadows Jr, and Elder Jason (Alisha) Meadows. In 1971 Bishop Meadows was appointed pastor of Emanuel Temple Church of God in Christ and was later appointed as a District Superintendent. In 1991 presiding Bishop L.H. Ford appointed Bishop Meadows as Bishop over the First Ecclesiatical Jurisdiction of Alabama. The notable accomplishments of this great man speak their own legacy and continue each and every day.
