After attending two great music schools (U of Miami and Berklee), I finally learned that music has to be fun, not work. The day to day grind of doing music assignments took away from the artistry for me. I have to write when it comes to me and when I feel most creative. I can sing when I'm happy. I can sing when I'm sad. I can definitely sing when I have an audience. BUT I cannot write or sing what I don't FEEL. I decided to study clinical psychology at Florida State University and continue on in pursuit of a master's degree. My favorite classes in school are the ones that stimulate me to think outside the box. I will continue to write music, and if it works out, I will be the happiest person on the earth. I wrote and recorded these songs on a little laptop. I write all of the time and love the process. Two of my songs have been released by another artist, but I prefer to write for myself. I am hoping that someone likes my music enough to give me a chance. It's a dream of mine to be on the festival circuit.Personal info: I am a vegetarian, hippie, vintage clothing shopper, dog lover, and liberal. My vehicle is a beach bicycle. I love to read. It's amazing to get lost in a good book, a trait I got from my Dad. I love to write, and I love to be outside. Camping is awesome. Nature is a gift. But music is my life.
