Started way back at school, (BRJ Catholic College, Telford Sropshire), learning sax & guitar. 15 years old and the PUNK era kicked in, then onto the NWOBHM, when I started playing drums for Telford rock band "F111", later two bands joined forces, BRIAN "THE RIFF MEISTER" MEACHAM, KEZ "THE THROAT" TAYLOR & JOHN "MR BASS MAN" Bedhall "GOD REST HIS SOUL". BRIAN NO.2 (guitar). 1st marriage broke this up for me, "FOOL I WAS". Got together a few years later with RICHARD HALL (guitarist), JASON (drums), we formed "CURIUM" with myself on guitar and lead vocals, playing covers and a few updated songs I had written from the very early F111 days . After going through a few bass players, and stress from ex, my 1st marriage broke this up too. Whilst doing the rock scene I also played for a cabaret band performing at various clubs and the holiday parks. Decided to go solo. 2nd marriage to ANGIE "SHORTSTOP" MacKENZIE took me to greater heights, Angie has supported me all the way, and was the one who encouraged me to start playing the sax again. I was then spotted by Anne George, director of Trevor George Entertainments, who bought us both to Devon, neither of us have looked back since and have been performing cabaret throughout the Southwest of England at hotels, holiday parks & theatres, even getting involved in shows as a Stage Director.
