Zachary Levi biography Zachary Levi stars as computer geek-turned government agent Chuck Bartowski in the new NBC series "Chuck". Levi's youthful exuberance and charm are quickly making him a favorite first pick for Hollywood. In addition to "Chuck", Levi has been cast as the lead in the independent film "Shades of Ray" about the struggle of a Pakistani man and his upcoming wedding. He also wrapped production on the upcoming comedy "Weiners", also starring Keenan Thompson (both projects are set for release this year). On the big screen, Levi was recently seen starring opposite Martin Lawrence in the hit comedy "Big Momma's House 2". Audiences have enjoyed Levi in four seasons of the comedy series "Less Than Perfect", as the quick-witted, scheming Kip Steadman. Levi starred alongside Sara Rue, Andy Dick and Eric Roberts. Also on the small screen, Levi portrayed a potential boyfriend of Charisma Carpenter's character of Jane in the television movie "See Jane Date". He also earned great reviews for his guest appearances on the hit shows, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Division", and for his supporting role in the television movie "Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie". Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Levi eventually made his home in Ventura County, California. He began acting in theater at the early age of 6, performing lead roles in regional productions such as "Grease", "The Outsiders", "Oliver", "Godspell", "The Wizard of Oz" and "Big River", but it was his portrayal of Hank in a production of "Marvin’s Room" that brought him to the attention of Hollywood. A devoted philanthropist, Levi is committed to serving his community through organizations which improve the human circumstance. Levi currently resides in Los Angeles.
