75 South: Welcome 2 Da 3rd region coming soon!!!!

About Me

The StreetBangaz are a Charlotte County-based hip hop/rap and reggae group. They are the first group out of the area being recognized throughout the state. The group currently has four members; Andre "Dreezy" Brown, Jamal "J-Reid" Reid, Aaron "G Boy" Doby, and Tavries "T-Money" Reid. Just recently in mid 2005, the group came together as a whole. Doby (G-Boy), at the age as young as 15, was surrounded by his brother (Dreezy) and friends freestyling, inspiring him to write his first verse. While Reid (T-Money) and Brown (Dreezy) were concentrating on school, they also found music as a favorite pastime. In addition to school and music, Brown was also dedicated to basketball as an All-State Player for his High School (Charlotte High). Doby and Reid had come together writing songs, soon deciding to take it a step further and form a group. Doby had already thought of the StreetBangaz Click (SBC) as a hot name for the group. Knowing that his older brother could spit, he soon got a hold of him and “Dreezy” became a member of the group. The group was very anxious about their potential, and at the birth of “Till Death Do Us Part,” J-Reid was quickly added. StreetBangaz made their debut album release November of 2005, entitled "StreetBangaz V1: In The Streets We Trust". On that mixtape was the group’s first hit single “Dabble Squabble”, and others such as “Chevy Boy“, and “Till Death Do Us Part“, all of which gained full respect from music lovers all over. The group adjoined with A&R Management early 2006, but shortly went separate ways. Already having done shows in Orlando, Panama City, Miami, Bradenton, Tampa, Pensacola, etc. the group plans to broaden their performing range and hit more cities, not only limited to Florida. Also having established an independent label known as BangaBoyz Ent., they hope to add more local artists and ultimately get signed. “…the StreetBangaz has what it takes to carry the Southwest on their backs,” states Crown Magazine (July 2006 issue). Being featured in the premier issue of Crown Magazine, performing live all over the state and working on music day in and day out, the StreetBangaz are sure to put Charlotte County on the map. The release of their first two albums; VI: In The Streets We Trust, and V2: Grindaz Mentality, instantly grabbed the attention of many other artists and djs. They are currently working on their much anticipated third album 75 South: Welcome 2 Da 3rd Region," being released in the near future. Features on albums with artists reigning from the same area, Set Squad and CV, as well as DJ Diverse and DJ Billy Ho, gave SBC their much wanted publicity. With help from popular websites, their music has been able to reach many different areas across the country, with positive feedback constantly in return. Having also done shows locally at popular spots such as Café Millenium and The Women’s Club, the StreetBangaz are very much so a highly anticipated local act. With songs like “Florida Thang,” “Beat ,” and “Let Me Get That,” we could only expect more great hits, packed shows all over the state, and a hot group that will put Southwest Florida on the map, undoubtedly going far.crash_codesI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
