Hey! I'm Lily, and my awesome husband, Joe, and I live in Atlanta, GA. We verrrry recently got married and are loving EVERY single thing about it - though, dont be fooled, it's not always easy. Joe is the apple of my eye, and the hero and conqueror of my heart. We're the cheesy couple who park their cars next to each other, follow each other around (even in our apt), and like to kiss in the rain :) The world NEEDS to know this man!!! Same goes for the man, Jesus, who showed Joe how to do all, that me how to respond to him. He's THE Man! Joe and I are both missionary kids. I grew up in the suburbs of Paris, France, and Joe grew up in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Orlando, Fl. Right now, I work as a program director for an international adoption agency, and Joe teaches elementary music. However, starting this fall we'll be Stinting with Mk2Mk (CCC), and ministering, mentoring, encouraging missionary families around the world. A big, BIG thrill is of course TRAVELING to see all these families in their "homes" and meeting them where they are at. I love airports, flying, plane food (I know, weird. But it correlates in my brain with a long-distance flight, and therefore an international adventure!), discovering new places and revisiting old ones, bargaining, then getting a great deal. I'm told that I'm feisty, sassy, honest, loyal, passionate and loud. Come discover for yourself. I love people, I love to have long deep talks with friends, debate social issues, politics and philosophy, laugh till my sides hurt, listen to Joe play his guitar and sing, sip hot coffee, sweat, dance!, eat (anything), laugh and talk some more. I'm really bad a chit-chatting and prefer to get deep and to the core in a discussion. I love to study human behavior and am fascinated by the uniqueness of each person- go God. My life is not mine, but Jesus Christ's. He died for me and redeemed my soul. He is the center of my life, and the wind in my sails!! Joe's and my life's goals are to live life to its fullest, in complete trust of the One who takes care of us in inherent goodness, eyes wide open, arms spread out, free falling into whatever adventure is next.
