So, who are we?
We met each other whilst working & traveling around Europe, at the time I was working as a cook in a Hotel in Southern Germany, when This Beautiful Woman came into the Hotel looking for work, Luckily the owner of the hotel "Herr Biehler", liked the look of her also, and gave her a job for the Summer Season. Jarmila is From Slovakia, and had come to Germany after Graduating from Veterinary School. She came to Germany to spend time with an Aunt who lived neaby, Lucky For ME.....
She had never met an Englishman before, so I think I was an Interesting subject for her at first, After a six month romance, the jobs came to an end so I drove my little Volkswagon all the way to Slovakia to meet her Family. I think they were as surprised as I was, especially her Father who was an Ex Comunist Soldier, The ones who I had spent five years in the British Army leanring how to defeat in a cold war. Before long we had to say our goodbyes as I had to start my new Job in the Austrian Alps for the Winter Ski Season (96/97). We did not know what would happen at that point, but after spending six months apart, I realised that I wanted to be with Jarmila and so drove back to Slovakia, and asked her to marry me.....
We had a big engagement party in true Slovakian Style, and soon after we were flying back to the UK to begin our lives together. Here we are now, happily married, and with two beautiful children. I guess you could say that Jarmila got a lot more than she had bargained for when she went looking for that job in Germany...... a Husband, a new life in the UK, and soon after a Family. Funny how things work out is'nt it?
Alexander is now aged 11 and Jessica is 5. Having Children come into our lives changed everything, as I am sure any parents out there will understand. When Alex came along Jarmila and I were both working very long hours, just to survive, It was not a good situation, but it is a situation that many families, across the world find themselves in I am sure. Trying to find a healthy balance between work and family life is difficult at the best of times. When Jessica came into our lives we knew something had to change....
Jarmila was doing very well in her Career as a college Lecturer, and I was not so happy with my job, so we decided that I would quit the RatRace, and look for a part time job which would fit around the kids. It was a difficult thing to do at first, and I tried many part time jobs, all of which were either unsociable hours or very badly paid.
During this time I started to search the Internet for ways to make money and was overwhelmed by the thousands of so called Opportunities available. After much research I joined my first Work from Home Business, back in October 1999. Since then I have been involved with many work at home business's, some of them good, some of them not so good, but what I have learned along the way has enabled me to keep a good level of income coming in. At last I had found a way that I could work in my spare time, around the children, and develop a good income whilst having the flexibility to be there for my kids as and when they needed me. This type of work has now become a way of life, and now I spend a lot of time with my kids, whilst helping others find ways of developing additional incomes, from around the world.There is NO Greater reward than that of helping other, like-minded people achieve their goals, As long as you are determined, and have a clear focus of what you want to achieve in the end, anything is possible.
We are quite an active family, as we love being outdoors as much as possible, weather its Alex and me out on our Boat, Wakeboarding, or the girls going horse riding, riding our bikes in the forests,or walking in the mountains. Only challenge is that the mountains and forests are not very near to where we live, so it is a goal of ours that one day we would like to live somewhere where this can be a lot more easily acessible.
The roles we fulfil in life are many, After coming back to the UK in the Spring of 1997, and not being able to speak a word of English Jarmila has now scaled the work ladder and is a College Lecturer,and Course Leader in Animal Science's, I am now a Professional House Husband, Child Carer, and work from home business coach. I love helping people from around the world learn how to create additional streams of income, from home, around their personal commitments..
