About Me

So there I was, outside a saloon, that from the looks of it belonged in an old Clint Eastwood flick. The sign was covered in dust and the name was too hard to make out. Probably an adjective followed by a noun. The Thirsty Dog, Wet Whistle or Crazy Caliope. I walked through the doors and heard them creak shut behind me. The tavern was bare except for a few drunks drowning their sorrows away in beer mugs shaped like boots. I could feel eyes burning into me like Daddies cigarettes from all directions. This place is a no-man's land at least not this man's land, I had to get out of there quick. I kept my hand trained on my piece in case any hooligans should decide to test my marksmanship. I walked with fire in each step to bar keep. He looked me in the eye as though he could break me down with a glare, but no, not this man. I'm resilient like a popcorn kernel stuck in your gums. I grabbed him and I grabbed him hard. He knew I was there for a reason. He reached behind the counter and produced the key to the restroom. Was it etched on my face? Did everyone know? I looked down and noticed I was dancing a dance of anticipation. They knew. They all knew. I was a man that had to pee real bad.
