Movie Quotes I Love
(a work in progress)
"No, no, no. You can't promise something like that. I have no idea what you're gonna ask me. So you can go ahead and ask me what you're going to ask me, and my natural response could be to get offended! Then, through no fault of my own, I would have broken my promise." - Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction
"I used to want to change the world, now I just want to leave the room with a little dignity."
and
"Voyeurism is Participation"
--Justin Bond-- Shortbus

"Loretta, I love you. Not like they told you love is, and I didn't know this either, but love don't make things nice - it ruins everything. It breaks your heart. It makes things a mess. We aren't here to make things perfect. The snowflakes are perfect. The stars are perfect. Not us. Not us! We are here to ruin ourselves and to break our hearts and love the wrong people and *die*. The storybooks are *bullshit*."
Nicholas Cage as Ronny Cammareri in Moonstruck

Television:

I'm a Sex and the City girl. Rent it all the time. I am addicted to Lost, everyone should watch it. Golden Girls is an old classic favorite. Im a big old school Nickelodeon fan. I grew up on Pete and Pete, Rockos Modern Life, Salute Your Shorts, Ren and Stimpy, sometimes Nogin channel has some of the oldies. I like Family Guy when i remember to watch it and the movie was Hilarious!

Books:

I have recently fallen in love with Chuck Palanuhick. He is most known for writing Fight Club, I've read Lullaby, Invisible Monsters, Choke and Survivor and i loved them. Im reading Rant at the moment and Hopefully soon i'll get to read Haunted. Check him out...he's TOTALLY twisted. I do love the classic Shell Silverstein books including The Giving Tree....anything i read as a kid. 1984, Dolores Claiborne is one of my all time favorite books....when i was in 6th grade i read it so many times it fell apart. collections of short stories. I want to read Farenheit 421...

Heroes:

People with the willingness to overcome. People with strong opinions. My Boyfriend, he speaks his mind in such a way that you can't help but listen. He has convictions and sees through the bullshit and tries to change a few minds and open our eyes to what were really doing to ourselves as a human race. The only terrorists we should be afraid of (in my opinion) are us. We are destroying ourselves faster then anyone else.
