I enjoy fishing, live bands, pick-up basketball games, swimming, video games, chess, doing stuff with my daughter, good food (it is a must), riding bikes, taking walks, working out, going to comedy clubs, and musical theater. I could go on but all I would be doing is naming everything that life has to offer. PS I am a quasi adrenaline junkie.
Hunter S Thompson (RIP) would be whom I would like to meet the most.
I pretty much listen to every kind of music---except country, its just not my cup of tea. I prefer heavy metal/hard rock. Bands like Deftones, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Pantera, Snot, Soil, Ill Nino, Slayer, Sevendust, and Clutch to name a few. At the same time I love funk, jazz and blues unfortunately I would not be able to name any songs off hand.
I enjoy a good movie, but I am not one to watch a movie over and over just to recite a few lines. Some of my favs are Resevoir Dogs, True Romance, Alien, National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Caddy Shack, The Professional, Blazing Saddles, Space Balls, Ninja Scroll, any Bruce Lee movie or old school martial arts movie.
My current favorite show is the Shield. I also like CSI, but not the spawn of the original. I am a sports freak. I watch football religiously on Sundays and Mondays given the opportunity. I follow the Detroit Pistons also throughout the NBA season.
I worked in a library for 3 years, it is hard to say what my favorite book would be since I have read soooo many. I liked Anne Rice's descriptions, Tom Clancy's technical style, Stephen King's early works and many others.
I really don't have any heros. My father would be the closest thing to a hero I have. I respect the work and contribution that certain people have made over time to society, but I do not "look up" or idolize anyone for their accomplishments. Some people are meant to contribute to the greater good of the world and others are just like worker bees serving a small but no less important purpose. My question is "Who are you?"
