I am a Social Work grad student at the UW-Madison. This year I am working to create a social service intervention to help Latina mothers who are caregivers to children with disabilities. I am also doing research within medically underserved communities. I recently returned from 5 months in Spain, and I can not relinquish my eternal love affair with the Spanish language...a little dramatic, I know:) I love traveling and exploring new places. I am intrigued by other cultures and customs, and I am forever seeking to learn more about the human experience according to people very different from me. La vida esta mas rica cuando podemos compartir y aprender de las experiencias de los demas, no? These days I am taking every opportunity to get out and enjoy life, which constitutes anything from a crazy night of dancing, to meditating with friends, or a romantic evening at home.
