Janne Pettersson and Henrik Bladh had been thinking about putting together a tribute-band band for Peter Gabriel for years.
The idéa grew and gradually took form when new musicians got hooked on the idéa.
All of a sudden we found ourselves with a full band and started rehearsals for a Peter Gabriel tribute concert. We did the concert on November the 10th 2007 and as an additional tribute to PG:s work with projects outside of the music industry, we invited the local Amnesty International representatives to place information and posters in the concert hall that evening (and they did!).The songs that we have posted here were recorded live that night.
Except for "Red rain", "Talk to me" and "Here Comes The Flood" that were recorded "live" without the audience, straight from the mixer but without any overdubs or anything!
The acoustic version of "Here Comes The Flood" is from the second concert.
The original idéa was to do just one show and then leave the project, but
since our hero was just rewarded the prestigious Polar-prize we are going to keep the project going a while longer!
