Mr. Tallahassee

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The idea of Mr. Tallahassee began at a dinner party in the fall of 2004 when dinner conversation led me to help some friends, frustrated with “Tallahassee’s Itinerary,” by informing them about up coming events and annual festivals. During the conversation it was jokingly mentioned that I was “Mr. Tallahassee.” When I hosted the next dinner party he invited my friends as Mr. Tallahassee for amusement. From there, the title was entertained by growing number of my friends and became more than amusement when I began to use the “Brand” to promote charity events and the community of Tallahassee as a whole. Currently I am working on several presentations to inform audiences of the activities and civic involvement that is available in my hometown. I am also developing a website www.MrTLH.com to help as a continuing reference for my neighbors, as well as working with non profit organizations to promote and raise money.
To get to know me better is best begun by getting to know my town. Below are a few pics of me in Tallahassee. I have added some captions. Click on the pictures to read them.

Personal Maxims:
Flirt to flatter, anything else will happen or won't. (So, enjoy life, by flattering. )
Always take it as a compliment. (No reason to take it any other way.)
...don't just roll with it, ROCK IT and hold on to it until it is time to let it go!
"We are all travelers in this world, and the best we can hope to find is a honest friend."
~ Stevenson
Your education is too important to let school interfere with it.
~ Samuel Clemons
A leader who develops others, adds; A leader who develops other leaders, multiplies.

You can spend your entire life trying and that is all you will ever accomplish (trying). Instead why not spend your entire life living? Then once you do it, it is done, and what is more you can say you lived it.

Once you have identified the problem, you have all but solved it. (The only thing holding you back from resolving it, is you taking initiative.)

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
