The idea of Mr. Tallahassee began at a dinner party in the fall of 2004 when dinner conversation led me to help some friends, frustrated with “Tallahassee’s Itinerary,†by informing them about up coming events and annual festivals. During the conversation it was jokingly mentioned that I was “Mr. Tallahassee.†When I hosted the next dinner party he invited my friends as Mr. Tallahassee for amusement. From there, the title was entertained by growing number of my friends and became more than amusement when I began to use the “Brand†to promote charity events and the community of Tallahassee as a whole.
Currently I am working on several presentations to inform audiences of the activities and civic involvement that is available in my hometown. I am also developing a website www.MrTLH.com to help as a continuing reference for my neighbors, as well as working with non profit organizations to promote and raise money.
