Our Exposition

Our Exposition existed from the March of 2003 until around may of 2005. The band was started by Matt Womack and Eric Davila and soon joined by Sky Hopinka. They played acoustic sets at coffee shops for a few months, recorded a three song demo, then were joined by Eric Garcia on drums. After a while he left. Then Eric Negreti came in on drums in July 2004 They played some shows, then recorded an EP in September 2004. They played some more shows and after a while, Eric N. left too. Soon after that, Eric G. came back. Then they played even more shows and were joined by Anthony Banez on guitar. Soon after, Matt left and the remaining members of Our Exposition (Eric D., Sky, Eric G. and Anthony) formed The Fire Season with Kurt Adams of Portiko on Vocals. They played some shows and broke up a little while later. The first three songs are from the EP recorded in September of 2004 with Eric Negreti. Man Down was recorded in Eric Garcia's bedroom in March of 2005 featuring Anthony Banez guitar. Man Down was the last song wrote together and it is still one of the favorites. The recording is rough, but hopefully when you listen, you can get past its coarseness and enjoy.
