About Me

Hello, and welcome to my personal page on MySpace. Thanks so much for stopping by today. :-) As you will soon discover, I have a great passion and a deep appreciation for music, art, philosophy, psychology, metaphysics, spirituality, mythology and cultural anthropology. Oh yes, and did I mention horses? I was actually conceived on a trail ride and my mom rode horses throughout her pregnancy until just two weeks before I was born. She then headed off back down the horse trails postpartum with me strapped to her tummy at 6 weeks old! Horseback riding and the rhythmic motion of a horse's gait carries me straight back to the womb, hence my chosen channel name, EquuSpirit. I grew up on the back of a horse in beautiful northern California and am a life-long horsewoman, a spiritual seeker, a natural mystic, an incurable romantic, an INFP idealist, a proud grandmother, a supportive mother, a widow and a bit of a hermit. I am gregarious enough and I enjoy connecting with people, but I also value my privacy, my inner peace and quiet, my reflective moments each day just as much. I do not like to get caught up in the mad rat race pace of life and all of the stress it produces and so tend to be a homebody. I'm a baby-boomer, a card-carrying member of the love generation and a high school graduate in the summer of '69. ;-) Many of the songs you will find in my '60's play list bring back a lot of fond memories of a more idealistically hopeful time in my life and help to sooth the soul with their heart-felt, familiar melodies. I love being out in nature and enjoy exploring the natural world. I strive to create a sense of balance between my inner and my outer life experiences. I do not generally tend to take things at face value and will most often seek to better understand what makes people tick. I love to explore the underlying mysteries, workings and structures of life and the universe and am quite inquisitive by nature. I love a great mystery, and will follow the threads of the unknown down to their source. I am equally comfortable in the presence of both the seen and the unseen forces of life. I revel in the cosmic consciousness and primordial energies that flow in, around and through us each, individually and collectively, and have come to greatly appreciate all of the little synchronicities, mini-miracles and surprising states of grace that emerge in moments when they are least expected. I wish you peace, presence and progress along your chosen path. May you always walk the beauty trail. ~ Namaste ~ Terri ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ YOU ARE INVITED TO VISIT MY PERSONAL PAGES AT YOUR LEISURE: http://members.soundclick.com/ LadyHawk1 ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ http://ca.youtube.com/user/EquuSpirit ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ AND, YOU'RE ALSO INVITED TO VISIT MY PROFESSIONAL PAGES AT: http://www.myspace.com/michaelchannel ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ http://www.michaelmosaics.com Now playing: LadyHawk1's station - Special Sounds SamplerPLEASE HELP SAVE OUR WILD HORSES AND TAKE ACTION NOW! Your most authentic, essential self, in any given moment! ~*~*~*~ THE HORSE IN ART ~ Created by John Lee ~ Horses have always been important to mankind - in his work, his warfare, and his affection. They have also filled his art. Here are some 230 of the world's paintings featuring horses as a major player. The music is Aaron Copland's "Rodeo," another superb piece of art that features horses. ..
