About Me

Desert Screams Productions is the new home of horror in the southwest. Based in southern Arizona but interested in what's going in the horror-movie community throughout the country, DSP is hard at work on a variety of projects, all of 'em dedicated to old-school American horror in the best and bloodiest tradition. Next up: BRING DOWN THE SUN, a violent, darkly funny story about vampires and the televangelists who love them, and a fan-film short called HALLOWEEN: HOMECOMING, a loving, bloody tribute to the John Carpenter classic that picks up right where HALLOWEEN II leaves off. We're in the last stage of pre-production on BRING DOWN THE SUN, and will be casting for the film all through June with a view toward filming in late July and August. Let us hear from you-- get involved in indie horror out West!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Horror writers, filmmakers, anyone involved in presenting their genuinely frightening ideas and images to the wider public.People interested in becoming involved with the production of THE COLLECTOR, DSP's latest and greatest feature-length project. We're still looking for actors, crew members, and F/X people. If you have what it takes, let us know! And the most important people out there-- the horror fans!
