Nathan Principe(NEW SONG UP!)

Nathan Principe, an 18 year old indie-folk musician grew up in the small town of Simi Valley, starting his musical career at the age of 13. Since then he has written and recorded many songs and has played several shows at local cafes and small venues around the Ventura County/Los Angeles county area. Known by family, friends, and fans, he is said to be a solid mix of Elliott Smith and Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard. He combines the complicated guitar styles and complex lyrics of Elliott Smith with the smooth, comforting voice of Ben Gibbard but continues to create his own sound and own persona with every song he writes. With guitar, bass, drumming, keyboard, harmonica, and vocal skills, he continues to write and record music for audiences of all ages. The singer-songwriter has studied under former Musician's Institute graduate, Steve Haggerty and soon to be CSUN graduate, Jason Lewis. He is also currently a student at Musician's Institute located in the heart of Hollywood.
