Capital Area Animal Rights Society, CAARS, is a new animal rights group working out of the Lansing/Ingham and the surrounding areas in Michigan. Although the group has just started we hope to take part in many diverse activities, including:-Fur Free Friday, November 23rd
-World Farm Animals Day, October 2nd
-Gentle Thanksgiving
-MEAT OUT, March 20th
-Monthly KFC demos
-World Laboratory Animals Week, April 24th-30th
-Volunteering with local shelters and rescues, especially with their adoption events
-Spay/Neuter Awareness
-Chained Dog Outreach
