Orphans and Other Children are a free improvisational band from Brooklyn, NY.We compose focused solely on conveying emotion, free from the restraint of a strict key, tempo, or time signature.Whereas traditional musical compositions will use notes to form words and phrases, We use the same note palette as strokes of color on the blank canvas of silence.When listening to our songs, try to free your mind from the urge to lock into a melody or beat. Attempting to do so would be akin to staring at an autostereogram (Magic Eye painting) improperly.Instead, lock into the emotion of what you hear, and you will naturally feel it, or possibly even see it in your third eye.Thank you for checking us out, and we hope you enjoy our music.- Cody Clarke
