I think I'm really lucky in that I don't have much of a memory for certain things, like, books for instance. Combine that with pretty indiscriminate taste and I find myself enjoying things over and over again, music and art and movies. I mean, I got three quarters of the way through a long book once before I finally realized I had read it before. This might be the effect of drinking and smoking pot and spending lots of time lounging around thinking about stuff but it's lead to a deep appreciation for all human effort. The fact that anyone, anywhere has ever done anything makes me very happy.

While some people think you're poor and maybe a little corrupt, you
know where it's at, enjoying good food and nice beaches. You like to take things a
little slower than those around you, and you really wish the air were cleaner, but sometimes
compromises must be made. For some reason, Chevrolet keeps trying to sell you Novas
as well, even though they don't really go.

In redoing my profile to go with my no-hair, new lease on life etc. I inadvertently deleted the embedding of the youtube video that Mary Myer made at Katie Robbins' 30th birthday party and the embedding of the results of the, What Country are You? quiz. For some crazy reason, I'm fine with leaving the video of me singing and playing with my brother and Dave Treut behind but I needed that country quiz back. This time I'm Mexico. Last time I was Ireland. Go figure.
