About Me

How or Do We Care? V olunteers' Please Help embody this year’s theme:

"Volunteer to Change the World" at a Tennessee Charitable Nonprofit Organization
We Are the Volunteer State - Go Tennesseans!

Teach Them to Care seeks to ignite ground-breaking passion for achieving the reachable, breathing belief back into communities and practical dreams of yesteryear; inspiring and assisting those that we serve to become motivated self-sufficient, zealous participants in their journeys — in both a brighter today and beyond’. 'Breaking the Cycle'

Donations to Teach Them to Care are being put to work in the development and launch of our first charitable nonprofit program for less advantaged families and children mentioned above - 'Breaking the Cycle'.

' Teach Them to Care ' is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of serving the underprivileged and enhancing opportunities available to low income families and children who have access to significantly fewer advantages in life due to economic barriers as well as those individuals that experience hardship due to a disability.
Teach Them to Care is interviewing for Board of Directors that live in Nashville, Tennessee or its immediate surrounding areas. Teach Them to Care Directors are individuals who are passionate in their commitment to serving others. If you think that you may be interested in serving on a Board that shares your passion, one that is truly devoted to making a difference and creating communities where all children and their families are provided with equal opportunity to thrive, please see 'What you need to know about our Board of Directors' before responding.

TTTC researches & develops programs to meet the physical, emotional, educational & medical needs of disadvantaged Children & Their Families... Transforming the World & Society: Creating Communities Where ALL Children Are Valued & Thrive. Our Position on Children at TTTC: That every child, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, orientation, nationality, disability, or ability should have someone who CARES as well as Be Taught By Someone To CARE.
We aspire to focus on charitable programs that not only address the big things that society needs but also the little things, the simple things, that say "We Care" about others and what small thing one might need to have a better day(s).
We provide help to underprivileged children and their families, lending a hand and lending encouragement to their caregivers. In an effort to Teach Them that Someone Really Does Care so that they will in turn Care More About Others and their plights. We believe that it you apply empathy in their lives they will learn in turn learn empathy.

The often-used saying that "Charity begins at home" holds great truth, however; if we want better communities for our children to grow up in, then we must as a community and society teach our children also to care about community issues and involvement.
