Look, all you Bushie Christian, right wing, gun nut jobs, even though I may HATE the USA and think it's an imperialistic terrorist regime dating back to George Washington and has band of insurgents, I still have a right to live here in comfort and freedom to say what I want. I consider it my duty to teach the youth to be ashamed of this country, to deny any and all greatness this country has accomplished and attribute it to European socialism, to imply that the Bush administration is responsible for everything wrong in the world, and most importantly to always be careful to not offend anyone ever to the point where their freedom of speech and expression is restricted to my view points ONLY. In my spare time I teach Math and Science.
I also believe in freedom FROM religion. Separation of Church and Media. Religion should be kept very very private and strictly to the inside of ones home, preferably the basement. Its my right to never ever see a cross or any other symbol of Christianity ever. I'm offended everytime I look at a dollar bill. In god we trust? HOW DARE they even put that on our currency! What about atheists!? They might be offended!!!!!
I also like to teach my students is that the United States of America is most certainly NOT the greatest nation on the planet. People them like to ask me what is. I don't have an answer for that, (probably Holland) but there is this myth that the United States has been a leader in industry, technology, and spreading peace and democracy around the world. Basically that's just a bunch of propaganda and lies. The United States has been involved in a few innovations here and there I'll admit, but did you know the Chinese developed gun powder HUNDREDS of years before the United States was even thought of? That countries were involved in international trade even! The wheel was invented in Africa. And Islamic cultures were developing the maths, sciences, and arts WAAAAAAAY before the United States. The U.S. has contributed one thing to the history of the world. WAR. The U.S. has participated in the most destructive wars in the history of the world: The US Civil War, World War 1, and World War 2. That's NOT just because people. We consume more products than any other nation and emit the most pollutants. I read a book by a liberal author called "A world without the United States" and he basically predicted how things would be and it was AMAZING. It's really complex to explain, but basically there was world peace. Amazing. And this is fact kids.
