LOST BREATH IS OUT TO GET YOU ALL!
La musica dei Lost Breath nasce con l’intento di fondere l’aggressività e l’energia proprie del metal – le nostre radici - con l’impronta moderna e al passo coi tempi delle nuove tendenze musicali quali post-hardcore, emo, crossover. Tutto questo mantenendo sempre costante sia la qualità dei testi che l’intenzione estetica che si propone come coagulo espressivo delle diverse realtà emotive che contraddistinguono la generazione cui i membri del gruppo appartengono. È musica che nasce dall’incertezza, dalla percezione di un avvenire complesso e forse cupo, dalle contraddizioni di un mondo falsamente moralista e d’ipocrisia farisaica, un mondo dominato da centri di potere tanto prepotenti quanto ottusi e arroccati, specie a queste latitudini, in posizioni passatiste e antievolutive. E la musica dei Lost Breath risponde allora con rabbia, istintività, riflessione sincera e meditata – ci guardiamo intorno, e ci facciamo molte domande cui i nostri testi cercano spesso di dar forma e spessore analitico – ma anche impulso iconoclasta e una sincera, viva, forte voglia di offrire evasione. Perché consapevolezza, interesse e desiderio di imprimere un segno sul mondo possono passare – anzi, devono! – anche attraverso l’intrattenimento. E in fondo la fase ludica, da sempre, è una delle massime espressioni d’intelligenza per ogni specie animale. Insomma: abbiamo qualcosa da dire, e vogliamo farlo usando i nostri strumenti.
